Gabrielle and her female counterparts were innocent victims of hackers who had invaded Apple’s iCloud platform and were bent on retrieving and sharing naked pictures of over a hundred famous women.
The sultry star had just married her NBA husband Dwayne Wade that August and the two of them were out on honeymoon when news broke that her naked pics were set to be released on a certain website, known as 4Chan. By the time Union was getting information that her private pics would be published, nude photos had already been posted of Kate Upton, Kim Kardashian, Kaley Cuoco and many more.

Union was perturbed by the news she had just received but her feelings began to ease a bit when time passed and the said pics didn’t appear. She would however be in for a rude shock when her naked pics began surfacing online, one after another, three weeks later.
Gabrielle was devastated as well as confused when she got to see the pics. They were pics which she had deleted more than a year before then but there they were still, online and open for everyone to see.
Being a longtime believer in women’s rights and equality, the American actress decided to speak up against the hackers. She felt the photos were a violation of her rights as a woman and also the rights of the other women who had been attacked. According to her words, most of those photos had been shared privately between her and her spouse and had not been meant for the rest of the world’s eyes. Unfortunately for her, once things are on the Internet, it’s impossible to have them removed.
